SIDance, born in 1998 in the wake of the 13th CID-UNESCO World Congress in Seoul, has presented 392 foreign performances, including Africa and Latin America, as well as Asia and Europe, and 489 domestic organizations and artists for the past 23 years.

It introduces top overseas works and rising stars to Korean audiences and devotes itself for Korean dancers to expanding overseas, strengthening its status as the largest and highest-quality international dance festival in Korea. Since 2018, it has focused on delivering various social messages through art by planning special features dealing with social issues such as <Refugees>, <Violence>, etc and is leading the international online performance market by holding online festivals in 2020 and hybrid festivals in 2021.
