Dance Films
This screening event features dance films produced by five dance companies participating in this year's festival. The stages traverse various spaces, from kitchens and living rooms to misty fields, or the enclosed frame of a black box. It offers a unique opportunity to experience the spatial freedom afforded by video arts, providing, at times, a more intimate and personal perspective and sensation.

Time Takes The Time Time Takes
It is a physical dynamic conversation through movement repetitions and pendulum leitmotiv that embodies mechanisms measuring time and space. A journey of dangling movements that burst into different encounters evolving towards a perpetual mobile. An ongoing wheel that suggests time as a continuum.

They Rise and They Fall
A goddess from the past might take form, a black magic spell, a dawn… Anything can appear in the mind of who is watching.

Accession
It is my investigation into how contemporary dance, black-art theatre and illusion can cross-pollinate to open new ways of thinking about choreography, imagery and movement language. I am channeling this investigation through the western nursery rhythm ‘Jack and Jill’. This work celebrates themes of truth/illusion; the concrete/the ephemeral; reality as crisis/our idealised vision of reality.
