COSSOC is a collaborative duet between a Catalan and a Slovenian dancer, created for outdoor performance. The hypnotic choreography is filled with suggestive images of what two bodies in constant balance can achieve. Balancing in less obvious places adds complexity and requires the dancers to truly tune into each other’s bodies, listening to every subtle weight shift and every transfer—within themselves, between them, or in the space around them. The piece guides the audience on a journey of calming down and deep listening, perhaps in search of a place to be at ease. It premiered at the 2021 Sismograf Festival in Spain.

Anamaria Klajnšček
Anamaria Klajnšček is a Slovenian choreographer and performer
who works primarily between Spain and Slovenia. Her latest work,
Stream of Thoughts: Interlace, is a quartet for two dancers and two
musicians.
Magí Serra
Magí Serra is a Catalan choreographer and performer who has worked for many years as a dancer with various Catalan choreographers. His latest work, Condens, is a solo piece that premiered in 2023 at Mercat de les Flors in Barcelona.
Group | Anamaria & Magí
Anamaria & Magí is an international collaboration between two choreographers: Anamaria Klajnšček (SLO) and Magí Serra (CAT). They met in 2018 during the creative process of Trama by Roser López Espinosa. In 2019, they began collaborating on research into new physical partnering principles, which led to the creation of their duet, COSSOC. In addition to the duet, they have created a short dance film and conducted international workshops based on their
partnering principles.
